Makena's words:
~Eyeeee (or AYeeee) = HI~mmmmUCK = milk~Balloon = "BOon" while throwing her hand up in the air
~What does a dog say? = "WHoo, WHoo"
~"daddy"
~addy = sissy
~BEEbee = baby (as in her baby doll that she is obsessed with)
~UH Ohhhh~kock, kock = quack, quack~cah = car (think boston accent)and FINALLY, "mama"
Makena:
~hates having her diaper changed
~put her in her bed, and she puts herself to sleep. For naps and bedtime.
~has been sleeping through the night again for the past week (hallelujah!!)
~loves to play peek-a-boo
~gives big, open mouth kisses when you say, "kiss kiss"
~blows kisses
~has the best laugh in the world
no baby food, no nursing, no bottle no crawling = no baby = :(
Actually, no bottle from before she was a year old. She was never very interested in it. Makena is a big girl!

Recent pics
...with Uncle Bill (LOVED Uncle Bill!)
...with cousin Tess (Tess and Sophie were AMAZING with Makena. Tess is a little mommy, and wanted to be wherever Makena was. Holly took a great picture with Tess holding Makena when she was less than a week old (which I can't seem to locate, otherwise I would post it). Holly said that we would take a picture like this every year, but Tess informed us that when Makena is big, she will have to sit NEXT to her, not in her lap :).
