Time for a big girl bed...
So, Makena has discovered that she can climb out of her crib. She does it with such frequency, it's been hard to get her to go to sleep because she just gets out. We solved her coming out of her room by simply closing the door because she had not yet learned how to open doors (she can do it now...bummer), but last week after I put her down for her nap, I listened as she climbed out and played in her room. She never cried, but I could hear her moving around, playing with toys. After about 20 minutes, it was quiet. I had thought maybe she got back in her crib, so creeped in to see this:
completely crashed out in her rocking chair with baby. She was almost bent in half and looked so uncomfortable I had to pick her up and of course she woke up in the process and there went her nap!So, we'll be looking into getting her a big bed soon. My baby is no longer a baby...so sad :(!
