Getting bigger!

Tummy-wise, not so much weight-wise. I am amazed when looking in the mirror. It is really expanding rapidly now. Alas, still no pictures to share. I am definitely not one of those belly-pic kind of girls. If I could avoid a camera at all costs at this point, I would. Actually, in general for the most part! Instead, I will post a picture of me with my best girl friend, Tiff, and another dear friend, Sharyl. This is from a bridal shower that I organized for my soon-to-be sister-in-law, Sonia. I couldn't have done it without Tiff, and Sharyl saved me by coming with me early that morning to help set up, and carry all the heavy items that I brought with me. Thanks girls! No tummy shot, but you can see the weight being gained nonetheless. Once Noa returns from his 2 week journey, I'll do my best at getting a profile shot. We are at Week 28 today. 12 and counting...or 10 if BA2 is on her sister's schedule!

Product Plug

Anyone who knows me well, knows that I love a good product. This time around I am attempting to avoid stretch marks (if that's ever really possible...) by using Mama Mio's Tummy Rub Stretch Mark Butter. The true test won't be until after BA2 is born and the stretch marks actually appear, but compared to anything I used previously (and trust me, did I try A LOT of products!), this is by far my favorite. It has a very pleasant, light fragrance - I am not a fan of fragrance - and is not greasy in the least, another very, very important trait. The great thing is that I had been reading about this "butter" for a long time in several different publications and websites, but was having a hard time locating it in Hawaii. I finally found it at a maternity store that was going out of business and so ended up getting it for 40% off. Too good a deal to not try it! In about 3-4 months, I should have a results post to see how well it really works (worked).
