Thanks for my cool new hat Aunty Mikie!


and yes, it has been cold enough to wear one here lately. With temps at night in the high 50s, low 60s (brrrr for Hawaii), Makena has been wearing 2 pairs of jammies (1 fleece over 1 thermal) AND a hat. One night I had to turn on the AC in her room to warm it up since it's set at 76 degrees. I don't think houses in Hawaii have heaters. That may sound crazy to some of you but that's pretty much freezing here for us sun-all-year-round-75-degree-weather people.

It has been freezing! I have burned so much wood to make a fire in our wood stove to warm up at least the front living room area. Brrrr!!! It's just not natural!

way cute cap! she looks so "modern millie". on another note, houses in wahiawa (aka schofield) have heaters in them; weird, huh?
