Inaugural Post

Welcome to Baby Allen Two's blog (BA2 from here on out)!

I thought briefly about combining Nanea and BA2 together, but growing up as part of a pair, I realized that BA2 deserved a site of her own.  Yes, she is a SHE.  2 daughters for Noa.  Boy is he in for it.

I had hoped to post some pictures on my first post (ultrasound, belly pic), but can't seem to get my act together, so those will have to wait.

Overall, this pregnancy has been completely different from the first, from the horrible morning, (really ALL DAY) sickness/nausea for the entire first 14 weeks (terrible!), to the lack of exhaustion and back and hip pain (great!).  Maybe it's because I don't have time to wallow in self pity this time since I'm busy chasing a 2 year old.  Another big difference is that I still weigh LESS than I did at the start of my first pregnancy.  How do you figure that?  I was good about weight gain the first time around, gaining the recommended 25-30 pounds, and never got scolded for gaining too much at my monthly doctor's appointments.  This time however, it seems that I'm not gaining enough.  I was told at my last appointment to be conscious about increasing my calorie intake.

BA2 has begun to move around more and more.  Her big sister is becoming more and more conscious of mommy's big belly and ever-expanding piko.  Once in awhile BA2 will get a sweet little kiss from her big sister.

Welcome and stay tuned for more updates and pictures!

I too enjoy your blogs. This is the way that I keep up and watch Nanea grow. Now we can keep up with BA2. Thanks for all your postings.

FINALLY! :-) as a blogger myself I know how time consuming it is...I have three blogs myself and it's tough!

Well, congrats :-) hope you, um, start gaining more weight (gosh, I cannot imagine what that feels like, HAVING to consume more calories). Looking forward to more posts!
