The favored sleeping spot

This is pretty much the only place Makena will sleep during the day.  Ironically, Nanea HATED this thing, which we purchased because everyone we knew with kids told us that all kids love the swing and it was the best place to get them to sleep.  So, it's pretty much brand new.  She probably went in it twice for 10 seconds each time.  Even more ironic is that the darned batteries corroded in there so now the automatic swinging mechanism does not work.  The extremely annoying music works (go figure), but not the swing.  And, we have to swing to sleep, or at least stay sleeping.  So guess what I do in order to get things done during the day?  Yes, I push the swing.  And run back from wherever I am to keep the stupid thing swinging every 2 min or so.  I refuse to buy a new one.  1 - it's brand new!  and 2 - they are too expensive.  Any one know anything about wiring that may want to take a look at it to see if it can be fixed?  I would be forever grateful...then again, maybe it's good exercise for me...

Let' see what Grandpa can do when we get there. Grandpa B taught him some very useful electric stuff.

I would offer Ali'i's services but he's due for surgery today. If the metal is not pitted get a Qtip with a little rubbing alcohol and clean the ends. If it is pitted, sand the metal. Hope this helps-- if not - wait until Grandpa gets there.

I've had similar experiences with Andrew liking things that Will hated and reverse... So strange! Will liked the sling and the rolling bassinet. Andrew cries with both and likes the car seat or bouncy seat.

I finally have a sleeping overlap and I'm off to use every second!

Good luck getting the swing going again.
